Japanese Wisteria

Japanese Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda) stands out among flowering deciduous vine known for their cascading purple racemes. Its flower clusters are longer than Chinese or American species. More cold-hardy than Chinese Wisteria, this variety withstands harsh winters while producing more fragrant flowers. Japanese Wisteria develops thick, twisting trunks and branches ideal for cascade or semi-cascade styles. 

Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter. Some will have wire to set movement. The trees pictured are representative examples and will not be the exact trees you receive.
