The Weeping Higan Cherry (Prunus subhirtella var. Pendula) is a delightful Japanese species renowned for its blooms that begin in early spring and stay around for two weeks, while also sporadically producing flowers in fall. Blooms take the form of clusters of soft pink or white flowers, creating a breathtaking display. Similar to the Higan Cherry in almost every way except mature branches hang down with age not unlike a weeping willow.
Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter. The trees pictured are representative examples and will not be the exact trees you receive. Some may have wire for movement or branch placement.
