Chonker of an American Hornbeam trunk. Collected and chopped in spring 2024. The trunk chop was carved in early 2026, and new leader was just pruned back summer 2026. Great form and nice taper will develop here. Sweet nebari. An all-around fantastic example of a native gem. Big tree that is a little expensive to ship!
Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter.
