This is a healthy 3-5 year old seedling of an 'Arakawa' Japanese Maple. It has decent nebari as it was taken as an airlayer of the original seedling. Not all Arakawa seedlings will produce the signature rough bark, but this one looks to be displaying the early signs of it. Free grown last year so there are lots of branches to choose from in your initial shaping. In a 6" training pot.
Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter.
