'Deshojo' is one of the older cultivars of Japanese Maple and one of the more popular for bonsai in Japan. It has an upright form and spectacular cherry-red foliage in Spring, turning to green in Summer and finally a fiery scarlet and orange in Fall. These trees all originated as cuttings from one of our specimen mother trees at the nursery, so there's no graft union to contend with.
Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter. The trees pictured are representative examples and will not be the exact trees you receive. Some may have wire for movement or branch placement.
