Dwarf Mugo Pine

The dwarf Mugo Pine (Pinus mugo 'Pumilio') is a classic bonsai species prized for its slow growth rate, dense branching, and naturally short needles. Very cold hardy, the 'Pumilio' variety is one of the slowest growing out there, putting on only 3-4 inches per year. An easy tree to care for, and a unique addition to any collection.

Sizing Notes: 

• Premium Starts are ~4 years old and have great branching already. They were ground grown for 2.5 years before being put in a container this past spring. 
• Premium+ Starts are similar, but usually a year older and have more height/branching.
