Kishu Shimpaku Juniper is one of the most popular conifers in bonsai cultivation. As a dwarf variety of Chinese Juniper, it maintains naturally compact growth while offering excellent response to shaping techniques. The 'Kishu' cultivar has denser, finer foliage and more compact growth than the regular Shimpaku Juniper. The foliage pads grow in thick tufts and can be sculpted into refined formations as the bark develops an appealing reddish-brown hue that peels in thin strips.

Note: the trees pictured are representative examples and will not be the exact trees you receive. Some may have wire for movement or branch placement.
